This programme allows you to go through the basic safety training that is necessary to discharge the duties of a Departmental Safety Representative. Others who want to know more about safety management in the University may also benefit from it.
There are 4 modules in the core package which aims to give you a basic understanding of the University’s safety management system. Each module is followed by a simple multiple choice quiz which you must pass (getting all 5 questions correct) before you can proceed further. Re-attempt of a failed test is allowed. You are entitled to a Certificate of Completion upon passing the 4 core modules.
If you are interested in doing the optional module(s) which are on selected technical areas, you can proceed further. The optional modules you have completed will also be shown on the Certificate.
The entire core package will take approximately 50 minutes. If you exit from the programme before your complete it, you will need to start from the beginning again.
